We’re excited to welcome Paulo Magalhaes, P.E., to the ALRA team! With 30 years of experience in bridge and transportation infrastructure, Paulo brings extensive expertise as a project manager, resident engineer, and structural engineer. His background includes complex bridge and roadway inspection, rehabilitation, and reconstruction projects, along with expertise in constructability reviews, schedule and claims review, forensic support, and quality control.

We look forward to all that Paulo will bring to ALRA and the continued success we’ll achieve together.

A new office, a new chapter, and plenty to celebrate! 🎉

We recently opened the doors to our new ALRA Engineers branch office in Mount Laurel, NJ, and were thrilled to celebrate the occasion with friends, colleagues, clients, and members of our community.

Good food, great conversations, and plenty of laughs made for a memorable evening and the perfect way to mark ALRA’s growing presence in New Jersey.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the celebration so special. We’re excited about this next chapter and, most importantly, grateful for all the people we’ll get to share it with along the way. 🥂💙💛

We had the opportunity to take part in discussions focused on building strong partnerships and teaming opportunities within the industry, while connecting with fellow engineering professionals and industry leaders from across New York.

This Hispanic Heritage Month, the ALRA family came together for a day filled with culture, community, and celebration! We kicked off the day with a scenic ride, enjoying the beautiful route along the way, before gathering for great food, good music, and even better company.

This year, Hispanic Heritage Month overlaps with the upcoming Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and we took the opportunity to honor this during our HHM celebration. As part of the event, we were proud to give back to Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, with each participant making a donation in support of cancer care and ALRA matching the donation dollar for dollar. 💛

A great day out at the SNJDC’s 39th Annual Day on the Delaware aboard the Battleship New Jersey!

It was a wonderful opportunity to connect with fellow industry professionals, enjoy a beautiful summer day on the waterfront, and support the community through Operation Backpack.

Our 2026 summer internship program came to a close with a great afternoon of presentations, conversations, and reflection. Our four interns shared what they learned throughout the summer, the projects they contributed to, and the sites they had the opportunity to visit.

It was great to see them look back on their experiences and share their perspective on what they’ve learned along the way.

We’re proud of our interns and everything they accomplished this summer. We wish them all the best as they take their next steps! 👏

We’re thrilled to welcome William (Bill) Sposato, P.E., to the ALRA family!

With more than 30 years of experience in bridge inspection and quality assurance, Bill brings extensive expertise in quality control, bridge rehabilitation planning, and inspection programs for agencies including the NYSTA, NYSDOT, MTA TBTA, and the Connecticut Airport Authority. His deep technical knowledge, leadership, and numerous National Highway Institute certifications make him a valuable addition to our growing team.

We are delighted to have Bill on board and look forward to the knowledge, leadership, and experience he will bring to ALRA.

ALRA Engineers was proud to attend the New Jersey Turnpike Authority’s annual “Thunder Road” Golf Outing on June 15, 2026, at Forsgate Country Club. This annual event brings together industry professionals and partners to recognize the individuals and organizations dedicated to maintaining and enhancing the Authority’s transportation infrastructure. The outing also supports the New Jersey State Police’s “Survivors of the Triangle” charity, helping raise funds that make a meaningful difference for the families it serves.
