June 2026

ALRA Engineers, P.C. is thrilled to announce that the brand-new Meadow Hill Road Bridge over I-87 is officially OPEN as of this past Friday, June 12, 2026 — just one year after its closure for full replacement on June 13, 2025.

As the prime consultant to the New York State Thruway Authority, our team played a key role in bringing this major infrastructure upgrade to life. The project delivered a completely reimagined bridge: wider, safer, higher, and built for the future, complete with expanded shoulders, a dedicated pedestrian sidewalk, protective fencing, and improved roadway approaches.
